Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy

1. Platform Intellectual Property
The NTGlobalAcademy brand, logo, website design, software, and all proprietary platform features are the intellectual property of NTGlobal Technologies and are protected under Kenyan intellectual property law and international conventions. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.
2. Tutor Content Ownership
Tutors retain full ownership of the original course content they create and upload. By publishing on NTGlobalAcademy, Tutors grant NTGlobalAcademy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:
- Host, store, and deliver the content to enrolled students.
- Display course titles, descriptions, and previews for marketing purposes.
- Create platform-level backups of the content.
This licence ends when the Tutor removes the course from the Platform, subject to existing student enrolments.
3. Student Licence to Content
Upon purchasing a course, Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to access and view the course content for personal educational use only. Students may not:
- Download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute course materials.
- Re-sell, sublicense, or share access to purchased courses.
- Use course content to create competing products or services.
- Remove any copyright, watermark, or attribution notices.
4. Copyright Infringement (DMCA / Takedown)
If you believe that content on NTGlobalAcademy infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to copyright@ntglobalacademy.com including:
- Your full name and contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the rights owner or authorised agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will investigate all valid notices and remove infringing content within 5 business days. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to copyright@ntglobalacademy.com. We will forward the counter-notice to the original complainant and may restore the content if no legal action is initiated within 14 business days.
6. Trademarks
"NTGlobalAcademy" and associated logos are trademarks of NTGlobal Technologies. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent. Use of our trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without our consent is prohibited.
7. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the Copyright Act (Cap. 130, Laws of Kenya), the Industrial Property Act, 2001, and where applicable, international conventions including the Berne Convention and TRIPS Agreement.
